A Fantastic DIY Kitchen Remodel
With all this time spent at home lately, many of us are taking a long hard look at how our kitchen feel and function. These assessments are leading many brave DIY-ers to tackle projects that have been long procrastinated and the results are completely inspiring.
This DIY kitchen renovation was done by the incredible DIY-ing beasts Beth and Zak Vermillion. Everything from painting, flooring, tiling, shelving, and more was the result of painstaking work while the couple was stuck at home during the Corona pandemic. Only the countertops were contracted out but you would think the whole job was done by a pro, its that amazing. Take a look at the before and after photos and get inspired for your own DIY renovation.

And here is the incredible results AFTER all their hard work:
Beth was kind enough to send in photos of some of the detail as well as a list of what she purchased for the reno complete with links.
The Vermillion’s eye for detail is fantastic and they have created a beautifully curated, functional kitchen that brightens up their new home and did I mention the entire renovation cost under $6k?!! Simply incredible!
Beth has shared her method of painting kitchen cabinets on “Thirty Handmade Days”. This is her second time painting cabinets and its clear her ambition has payed off. Find that info at Thirty Handmade Days: Painting Cabinets.

Below you can find a list of the items they used in the makeover as well as links.
They added a plug to one of the drawers in the island to make a device drawer that the kids turn their devices into every night. They used a desk power strip and just cut out a hole for it in the back of the drawer and plugged it into a plug inside the island. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N4FW82N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
